International Recognition for Sukun’s Vision of Peace, Community, and Regeneration

Rosemary Morrow reflects on Sukun’s vision of building peaceful, regenerative communities for Bangladesh’s future.

We are deeply honoured to share a heartfelt message of encouragement from Rosemary Morrow, one of the world’s leading permaculture educators and authors, regarding the vision behind Sukun Regenerative Culture and our work in Bangladesh.

In her recent letter, Rosemary reflected on the journey she has witnessed and wrote:

“Your careful and detailed plans and design to develop spiritually grownded ecovillage dedicated to Peace is another gift and step forward for Bangladesh.”

She further shared:

“A village dedicated to both sustainability and peace is a brave and necessary innovation—not only for your country. Globally we all need models which show us how to live our values and beliefs for a greener, more equal and enduring world.”

Rosemary also expressed her hope that this initiative receives the support it deserves, noting its potential to help Bangladesh become a forerunner in creating sustainable and peaceful communities. She has personally supported the project as a sign of her belief in its vision and future.

For us, these words are not simply recognition—they are a reminder of the responsibility we carry. Sukun Regenerative Culture exists to explore how regenerative design, permaculture, education, community development, and spiritual values can work together to cultivate healthier people, healthier landscapes, and more peaceful communities.

We sincerely thank Rosemary Morrow for her mentorship, encouragement, and trust. We pray that Allah accepts our efforts and enables this work to benefit Bangladesh and, Insha’Allah, inspire regenerative communities beyond.

From Peace to Regeneration.
